What is the Healing Center

At Bethel Cleveland, we believe that God still heals people supernaturally.  There are countless Scriptures that indicate this. 

• Isaiah 53:5b tells us that it is “by his [Jesus’] stripes we are healed.”  Through Jesus’ death on the cross, He not only conquered sin on our behalf, but he also conquered sickness and death. 
• While on this earth, Jesus traveled all over teaching, preaching and “healing every disease and sickness among the people” - Matthew 4:23. 
• Matthew 10:1 tells us that Jesus “called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out evil spirits and to heal every disease and sickness.”  As followers of Christ, we also have been given authority to heal the sick through the power of the Holy Spirit. 
• In John 14:12, Jesus said that “anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these because I am going to the Father.” 

At Bethel Church, we acknowledge that God is the one who heals, not us. When we pray, we simply ask God to bring healing and give Him all the glory when people are healed!
