I'm New

Welcome to Bethel Cleveland!

We are a church that is on a journey. Our journey is one that will make us more and more like Jesus. He is the focus of our heart and our worship!

We have a passion for the Greater Cleveland area and are striving to build a church that effectively encourages its citizens and reaches its neighborhoods. We place a high value on seeking the presence of God through worship and prayer and also reaching to our neighbors and friends to encourage them

This page will give you a quick overview of our church.  Please click on the video link above and the links below to learn more about us.  To return to this page, just click "I'm New" on the top menu.

Senior Leader, Bethel Cleveland

Our Focus

Worship Jesus said that the greatest commandment was to simply love God. Our highest value as a church is to love and worship Him. The Bible describes worship in many ways and we love to see believers express themselves with freedom and creativity. Although our meetings are approached with a plan in mind, we seek to hear God's voice and are open to the Holy Spirit's direction. In worship, there will be times of singing, dancing, shouting, but also times of reflection and even waiting in silence.

Reaching Out / Helping Others Bethel Cleveland also has a heart to bring God's love to the nations. We have sent teams to over 20 countries throughout the world in order to bring God's love in a variety of ways. We have also given hundreds of thousands of dollars to dig fresh water wells in Africa, feed the poor, and touch those in need. Join us as we continue to reach out to others both locally and abroad, and let's bring transformation!

Transforming the Greater Cleveland Area Help us lift a region whose zip code had the highest percentage of foreclosures in the nation just a few years back! As a church, we have formed a team called Elevate Slavic Village to bring the Kingdom of God to this unique area of Cleveland in both natural and supernatural ways.

We've hosted several major outreaches in Slavic, fed over a thousand people, given away hundreds of backpacks, moved several of our young adults into the area, and are currently in the process of acquiring a building. We have a 10 year plan to set up a gathering point, start a community of believers, and continue to pour out God's love by meeting the physical and spiritual needs of the people of Slavic Village.

Our Beliefs WE BELIEVE that there is ONE LIVING AND TRUE GOD, eternally existing in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory; that this triune God created all, upholds all, and governs all.
WE BELIEVE that the SCRIPTURES of the Old and New Testament are the Word of God fully inspired, and the infallible rule of Faith and practice; and that they are to be interpreted according to their context and purpose and in reverent obedience to the Lord who speaks through them in living power. Healing Center At Bethel Cleveland, we believe that God still heals people supernaturally. There are countless Scriptures that indicate this. We acknowledge that God is the one who heals, not us. When we pray, we simply ask God to bring healing and give Him all the glory when people are healed!

Freedom Center When a person accepts Christ as their Savior, they are “born again” in the spiritual sense, but oftentimes they are still held back by sins, strongholds, generational curses, traumatic experiences and many other things the enemy uses to keep us from experiencing the wholeness we can have in God. As followers of Christ, we also have been given this authority through the power of the Holy Spirit. Bethel’s Freedom Team is fully committed to seeing you set free and made whole in Jesus’ name.

Prayer Prayer is a vital part of Bethel Cleveland. Prayer is about maintaining open communication with our Creator, hearing his voice, pouring out our hearts, and interceding for his Kingdom to come on earth as it is in Heaven. With this in mind, Bethel Cleveland has a 24/7 Prayer House.

Prophetic As a church, Bethel Cleveland values prophecy as one of the many gifts God has given to his people for their edification and for the furthering of his kingdom. As a result, we have Prophetic Teams available every Sunday after the service to pray for you and offer words of encouragement.

Equip Classes During Jesus' ministry on earth, He reached out to people, ministered to their needs, taught them biblical truths, and encouraged His followers to do the same. Our Equip Classes take you on a journey of spiritual growth through ongoing education and experience. It also provides an opportunity for you to join with others on this journey so we can connect, grow, and serve together.
Conferences Bethel Cleveland is a resource church. It is our passion to equip the body of Christ to be agents of transformation in this Greater Cleveland region. Hosting conferences is a major tool Bethel uses to do this!

Connect We were never meant to go it alone. God designed us to be in relationship with one another. By coming together, we are able to strengthen each other, encourage one another, challenge each other to grow, and share in the tremendous joy of Kingdom living.

Marriage Marriage is a natural expression of Christ's relationship with his Bride, the Church. At Bethel Cleveland, we value marriage as a gift from God. Yet, we know that every marriage continually needs strengthening. As a result, we offer a variety of opportunities for you and your spouse to be encouraged, strengthened, trained, and supported in your growing relationship with one another.

Young Adults If you're looking for a dynamic group of people your age who are constantly seeking to go deeper with God, stretching themselves to the limit, and shaping the world around them, this is for you. We are not about weak Christianity. We're discovering God's truth and letting it shape us into a generation of freedom fighters. We're accepting the challenge that God has placed before us and changing the world for His name.

Youth A group of young people devoted to seeing God move in the Greater Cleveland area... A group of young people who gather for relationship, worship and to study God's word... A group of young people who have stripped themselves bare of the things of this world in order to make God known.

Children Children are an important part of our ministry here at Bethel Cleveland. We encourage entire families to come! The values that we hold for adults--Experiencing God's Presence, Growing in Christ-Likeness, and Moving in Supernatural Ministry--are the same values we have for our kids! Our children's ministry is called Bethel Kids: Supernatural Generation.

Serve As you are learning and growing, we also want to offer you the opportunity to serve in any of a number of areas of ministry. Our engage teams consist of everything from Ushers, Greeters, Children’s Ministry and Worship Team to Building Maintenance, Computer Technology, Special Events, Seasonal Decorating and more. Whatever your gifts are, there is a place for you on one of our engage teams.
