The Atmosphere

BSSM-Cleveland is a Holy Spirit driven ministry school where students of all ages come to learn how to extend the borders of God’s Kingdom through a supernatural lifestyle. BSSM-Cleveland is a multi-generational school with participants, potentially, ranging from ages 18 to 80. One of Bethel Cleveland’s core values is honor, which manifests through joining the generations and teaching every age group to value and serve one another.

The school joins together academic understanding and hands-on experience. This creates a do and teach culture where all students are expected to take risks to stretch their faith and grow in their understanding of God. BSSM-Cleveland believes the Bible is an invitation into an experience with the Lord. Students are challenged to live the Bible. This produces an environment that often feels like a laboratory where disciples practice the things they are being taught. Instructors coach the process in a setting of passionate worship.

Once the students gain confidence and experience within the safety of the classroom, they are sent on outreaches into the community. These outreaches may include ministry to neighborhoods, after-school programs, and street or service evangelism. Excitement is stirred up when the students take their supernatural ministry into the community and return to class to share testimonies, give thanks, and debrief. Students are encouraged to cheer one another on toward the greater works Jesus described in John 14:12.
