Madison Campus

Bethel Cleveland is a community-based church with a vision for planting Bethel Church campuses throughout the North East Ohio region.  As part of this vision, Bethel Church launched a new campus in Madison, Ohio in November of 2010.  Todd & Nancy Roberts are long-term residents of Madison and long-time Partners at Bethel Cleveland. We are excited to partner with Todd & Nancy for this new campus.

Pastors

Todd Roberts has served the Madison community through various pastoral ministries for the last 21 years. He has a heart for marketplace ministry and evangelism.  Todd has demonstrated this recently through his intense involvement with a ministry-based coffee house located in the historic village of Madison.  He also has a vision for seeing a community transformed by the power of Christ shown through his people.

Todd has a B.S. in Pastoral Ministries and Bible from Kentucky Christian College.  Todd has been married to his wife Nancy for 21 years and they have two sons. They currently live in Madison-on-the-Lake.

Our Connection with Bethel

"Our union with Bethel Cleveland brings a promotion and a covering that will propel this town into the fullness of its destiny.  I believe this is the set time for the greater triumphs of the Lord to be performed in Madison, for the captives to be set free.  For those who have longed to have the fullness of intimacy with Jesus, their time is coming.  I believe the Lord will raise up an army in Madison that will be a resource that is vital to the future of this region.  For 21 years, we have been contending and sowing into Madison and we believe now is the time for the harvest to begin.

For 10 years we have been hearing and believing the words that have been spoken of over Cleveland.  For over 7 years we have been directly involved in Bethel Cleveland and the fulfillment of its vision. We have a strong relationship with Steve Witt and with Bethel that will propel us on this journey to an uncharted land.  It is time for us to lock arm-in-arm and be the pioneers of a region so it may be transformed for God’s glory!" - Todd Roberts

A nursery is available for children from age six months to five years of age. It is located downstairs in our facility and staffed by adults/teens. We are working on providing a TV so they can see the service.  We will proceed with children's ministry as soon as we are able to do so.

History of Madison

In the History of Madison (which means “Son of a Mighty Warrior”) we have read about the pioneering spirit that birthed the church in this area.  From General Abel Kimball--who wrote in the late 1800’s about the unity of the churches in Madison--to the Methodist circuit riders who brought the gospel to this town.  I now understand that Madison has always had a destiny for greatness in the Kingdom of God.  Now is the time for this “Son of a Mighty Warrior” to take its proper place in the region and to see the word of the Lord come to pass as the head begins to rise in greater Cleveland, Ohio.
