Journey Groups are small gender specific groups that meet on a bi-weekly basis for one hour to discuss Scripture, develop relationship and pray. So naturally in addition to sharing Scripture together, there will be opportunities to develop spiritual friendships through prayer and discussion; and corporate unity will be deepened as we corporately read the same Scripture.
Outreach will be occurring naturally as Journey Groups meet in public places and the members seek to bless the people who work at those establishments. It is the hope of Bethel Cleveland that these groups will draw people closer to God and to each other, empowering them to truly love God and their neighbor.
This year, Journey Groups will "Read the Red" as we spend "A Year with Jesus" studying the Gospels and wrestling with what the example of Jesus' life means for those of us who follow him now 2000 years later.
