Bethel Cleveland is one church with several campuses. Our vision is to transform the Northeast Ohio region. To accomplish this we have established a model of expansion with a goal of having 100 campuses of 100 or more people. Our funds are designed to accomplish this effort. Funds are categorized into two areas, campus and designated.
Campus Funds
Campus funds are collected and used to support each campus and for the growth of the overall Bethel Cleveland Church.
- Tithes and Offerings: overall expenses.
- Building Fund: specific building needs.
Designated Funds
Designated funds are for specific ministry focused areas. These funds are collected and used across all campus.
Below is a representative list of funds, will change based upon recognized need:
Expansion Fund
- For the adding of new campuses and targeted ministries.
Benevolence
- Assistance to attendees of Bethel Cleveland who are experiencing short term financial needs. See note below*
Ministry to Poor
- Assistance to the poor in Northeast Ohio, either directly or with partner ministries
Elevate Slavic Village
- As a church, we have formed a team called Elevate Slavic Village to bring the Kingdom of God to this unique area of Cleveland in both natural and supernatural ways. We have a 10 year plan and we need your help! Your giving will make it possible for us to buy a building, set up a gathering point, start a community of believers, and continue to pour out God's love by meeting the physical and spiritual needs of the people of Slavic Village.
Overseas Missions
- Assistance to ministries outside of the United States
Hydrating Humanity
- For this specific ministry, that digs wells in Africa
Bethel Prayer House
- Bethel recently opened a new Prayer House in Brunswick, Ohio. It is a place of encounter and visitation. The newly renovated house is designed with 7 prayer rooms. Your contribution will go to the ongoing improvement and maintaining of the Prayer House.
BSSM
- Support to the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministries, including sponsorships. See note below*
Designated Purpose Offering
- Help in a specific area identified by our Pastors, often for an immediate need.
* Note: IRS tax laws require that any money donated can not be specified for specific individuals or families. If you want to make a contribution to a specific person, please do it directly. Do not use the church. This type of gift is not tax deductable.
How to Designate a Fund When You are Giving
If you are giving in person, use the provided offering envelope:
- If no fund is identified, the amount goes to the Tithes and Offerings of that campus.
- If a fund is identified, the amount goes to that fund.
If you are using the on-line giving feature of MyBethel:
- Choose the fund from the dropdown list.
- By default, the choices will be for your campus and the designated funds.
- If you wish to give to a different campus, use the "Switch Campus" link on the top of the screen.
