Michael Hoff, while raised among the verdant hills and valleys of West Virginia, has a heart for bringing Christ's love in tangible ways to the poor, homeless, and broken in the urban centers of Cleveland. He also has a passion for equipping the people of God and empowering them to bring Kingdom transformation wherever they are.
Michael has a B.A. in Biblical Literature: Old Testament from Oral Roberts University and a Masters of Divinity from Ashland Theological Seminary. He has traveled to over 15 nations, including a summer spent studying at Hebrew University in Jerusalem and a month co-leading a mission trip to far eastern Russia. Michael has specific training in the areas of intensive Biblical study, Biblical Greek and Hebrew, church history, revival history, theology, and various areas of ministry such as the prophetic, healing, missions, and evangelism.
Michael has participated in and led various ministry trips both nationally and abroad. He is an experienced trainer who has led young adults groups, taught college level classes, and preached at churches in several states. Michael has been on staff at Bethel Cleveland for five years, heading up The Underground (18-30s ministry), Discipleship, & Outreach for all campuses. Michael has led numerous outreaches, including everything from hosting urban banquets for the poor to regular treasure-hunting and street evangelism. He has a passion for reaching people, helping them discover their passions, and connecting them with their purpose.
Michael is happily married to his amazing wife Beth and loves spending time with his bullmastiff, Kael. His hobbies include vintage motorcycles, travel, books, and exploring new places.
