Brunswick Grand Opening

Bethel Church is proud to announce the Grand Opening of its new Brunswick Campus building!

On Sunday, October 3rd, Bethel’s Brunswick Campus hosted a Fall Festival for the community in celebration of the Grand Opening of its new building on N. Carpenter Rd. in Brunswick. Despite the weather forecast of 100% chance of rain, not a drop of rain fell on the property from the time of setting up at 8:00am to the time we tore down at 4:00pm.

As the regular 10:00am service ended, people moved outside to take part in Bethel’s free cookout lunch with hotdogs, hamburgers, and a variety of delicious sides. The line for food was constantly moving as Bethel’s hard-working chefs fed over 400 people.

It didn’t take long for the kids to spread out over the property and join in the festivities. Various carnival games such as duck pond, bean bag toss, frog jump and more kept them busy for hours as they eagerly played and won tickets that would later be traded in for prizes. When they weren’t playing games, they were bouncing in the giant bounce house, getting their faces painted, or lining up for cotton candy or a bag of freshly popped popcorn.

While the kids were playing, the adults enjoyed fellowship, hot chocolate, corn hole and golf tournaments, and listening for their number to be called to win one of many door prizes.

From start to finish, the Grand Opening and Fall Festival was a success. Bethel Clevelanders from both campuses, along with visitors from the community, enjoyed eating, talking, and spending time on our Brunswick property.

The Brunswick Campus began in March of 2008, meeting in a rented facility until its new building was finished in May of 2010. Bethel’s new Brunswick Campus building is located at 197 North Carpenter Rd., on the former Waite Farm property, recognized by many in the community because of the barn, silo and pond that are visible from I-71. The new building is situated directly south of the pond, with a wall of glass doors and a patio for outdoor gatherings.

Steve Witt, founder and senior leader of Bethel Church, says, “The opening of our new building is a first step in a multi-phase campus that will position us for ministry for this next generation. We are excited and ready to serve in the community.”
